Outreach Mission

At St. Mark, we believe that serving others is a vital expression of our faith. Through the Outreach Ministry Team, we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in all we do,
both locally and around the world.

Whether it’s lending a helping hand in our community or supporting mission efforts, we serve with purpose and gratitude, knowing Christ calls us outward in love.

St. Mark partners with PC(USA), Mission Presbytery, and ministries near and far to support mission efforts through prayer, giving, and hands-on involvement. We seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in all we do.

Mission Partners

We support and serve alongside these organizations in our local community.

  • Center for Refugee Services

    Supports legally resettled refugees in San Antonio with essential resources and compassionate care.

  • Compassion in Action (CIA)

    Creates handmade quilts, pillows, turbans, baby layettes, and comfort items for those in need.

  • Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries

    Supported by St. Mark through food drives, volunteer service, and financial donations.

  • Hill Country Family Services

    Provides counseling, crisis assistance, food assistance, and other essential support services to individuals and families throughout Kendall County. St. Mark supports their ministry through financial contributions.

  • Hill Country Mission for Health

    Provides healthcare for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured adults in Kendall County. St. Mark supports their work financially.

  • Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center

    Receives financial support through our annual Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser and contributions to their annual gala.

  • Jericho

    A joyful fellowship for adults with special needs, offering biblical lessons, meals, music, and community twice monthly.

  • Love Kendall County Kids

    Supports children and families in need, including the annual LOVE Kendall County Kids Summer Needs Drive, volunteer service, and financial contributions.

  • Kendall County Women’s Shelter

    Provides safety, shelter, advocacy, and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. St. Mark supports their ministry through financial contributions.

  • Little Free Pantry

    Located on our church campus, providing essential non-perishable items for anyone in need. “Take what you need; give what you can.”

  • Transformation House

    Transformation House empowers women and children who have experienced trauma and abuse by providing safe housing and compassionate support. St. Mark partners with this ministry through financial contributions and hands-on volunteer service.

  • St. Mark Early Learning Center

    Our preschool ministry. The outreach team provides scholarships so children in need can access early education.

Regional Missions

St. Mark provides ongoing support to ministries across Texas that shape lives, nurture faith, and extend the mission of the Presbyterian Church throughout our region.

  • Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary — Equipping future pastors and church leaders.
  • John Knox Ranch, Wimberley TX — A camp ministry connecting youth and families to nature and faith.
  • Mo-Ranch, Hunt TX — A vibrant conference center offering retreats, camps, and leadership development.
  • Schreiner University — A Presbyterian-affiliated university fostering spiritual and academic growth.
  • Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services — Providing Christ-centered care to children and families.
  • Presbyterian Pan American School — A mission-driven boarding school serving students across the Americas.

Worldwide Missions

Through our partnership with the Presbyterian Church (USA), St. Mark helps support mission efforts around the globe — from disaster relief and hunger initiatives to sustainable development and the strengthening of the global Church. Together, we share Christ’s love across borders and cultures.

The Evangelism Ministry

In Boerne and beyond, we build relationships, strengthen connections, and reach out with hospitality, grace, and compassion. We meet real needs with real love — reflecting the heart of Christ in all we do.

  • Encourages meaningful, respectful, and relational approaches to evangelism.
  • Creates opportunities for fellowship and connection across the St. Mark community.
  • Provides scholarships for spiritual growth events like the All-Church Mo-Ranch Retreat.
  • Supports Vacation Bible School for 130+ children (and a dedicated young adult special needs class), powered by 50+ volunteers.
