Serve with Purpose

Extending Christ’s love through local and global outreach

Outreach: Mission & Evangelism

At St. Mark, we believe that serving others is a vital expression of our faith.
Through the Outreach Ministry Team, we work together to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and extend Christ’s love by offering justice, mercy, and compassion—
both locally and around the world.

Whether it’s lending a helping hand in our community or supporting mission efforts everywhere, we serve with purpose and gratitude.

Outreach Ministry Mission

At St. Mark, we believe every person is called to live out their faith through mission—to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. Our outreach spans local, regional, and global efforts, offering support through prayer, giving, and direct involvement. St. Mark partners with PC(USA), Mission Presbytery, and other ministries to extend the love of Christ near and far.

Outreach Ministry Evangelism

Through evangelism, we seek to recognize the needs within our own community and respond with Christ’s love—
both spiritually and tangibly.
In Boerne and beyond, we aim to make a meaningful impact by fostering relationships, building bridges, and strengthening connections within the St. Mark family and the wider community.
Through outreach, hospitality, and shared experiences, we reflect God’s grace and meet real needs with real love.

The Evangelism Ministry

The Evangelism Ministry

  • Offers opportunities for church members to learn and practice evangelism in ways that are meaningful, respectful, and grounded in love.
    • Encourages fellowship and connection—both within our congregation and with the broader Boerne community.
    • Provides scholarships for members to attend spiritual growth events such as the All-Church Retreat at Mo-Ranch.
    • Supports Vacation Bible School, serving over 130 children ages 4–12 each summer—including a dedicated class for young adults with special needs. More than 80% of the families served are not members of St. Mark, and over 50 teen and adult volunteers from the church joyfully give their time each year.
