Meet People & Become a Member

St. Mark is a place for team members, not spectators. Whether you are 5 or 95, busy rearing children, busy building a career, or busy enjoying retirement, we want you to be a part of this vibrant church community.

Here are some ways to learn, serve, and grow at St. Mark:

  • Attend worship, and stay after for coffee and snacks in the Hospitality Center.
  • Check out Sunday School classes in the Family Life Center.
  • Participate in activities like 5th Sunday lunches, Advent Activity, Epiphany Party, and intergenerational gatherings, as well as study groups, sewing groups, lunch groups, book clubs, etc.
  • Drop off your kids for First Friday parents’ night out, September through May.
  • Teens should check out the Youth Group calendar.
  • Join a ministry team such as Property, Worship, Communications, Children/Youth, Adult Christian Education, Congregational Life, or Outreach.

St. Mark welcomes new members at any time! The only requirement to join a Presbyterian church is to proclaim your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Individuals may join by:

  • Profession of Faith (and baptism for those who have never been baptized).
  • Reaffirmation of Faith (for those who are not currently active members of another Christian church).
  • Transfer of Church Letter (for those on the active roll of another church).

You’ll meet with the pastor and active elders to be received into the church. New members are presented and welcomed into the congregation during a worship service. Let the pastor or office know you want to join, or attend a Next Step class and join then.

Volunteer Application

At St. Mark, we believe that serving is a calling—and with that calling comes a responsibility to care for one another in Christ’s love. As our church family grows, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all, especially for the children, youth, and vulnerable adults who are part of our ministries.

To help us protect both our volunteers and those we serve, we ask that all individuals volunteering with these ministries complete a screening form and participate in online training. The training link will be provided once your form has been submitted.

Your willingness to serve and complete this process ensures that St. Mark continues to be a place of trust, care, and faith-filled growth for everyone.
