Deacons & Trustees

Supporting the Mission of St. Mark Through Service and Stewardship

Deacons at St. Mark

The Deacons of St. Mark Presbyterian Church are called to a ministry of compassion, service, and care. Grounded in Christ’s example of love and humility, they serve both within the congregation and in the wider community—offering prayer, support, encouragement, and practical help to those in need.

Each Deacon is elected by the congregation to serve a three-year term and works together as part of the Diaconate to extend Christ’s love through acts of kindness and connection. Whether visiting members, organizing care efforts, or simply offering a listening ear, our Deacons embody the heart of St. Mark’s mission to serve God by serving others.

Board of Trustees

The St. Mark Board of Trustees plays a vital role in the stewardship and protection of the church’s physical and financial well-being. Tasked with overseeing property interests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the church’s financial health,
Trustees provide behind-the-scenes leadership that supports the mission and daily operations of the church.

In addition to these responsibilities, Trustees have the authority to act on behalf of the church in legal and financial matters—such as contracts, banking, and investment decisions, when authorized by the Session. Their careful and faithful service helps safeguard the resources entrusted to St. Mark, allowing the ministries of the church to flourish.
