Christian Education

at St. Mark Presbyterian Church

At St. Mark, we believe faith formation is a lifelong journey. Through nurturing relationships, thoughtful study, and Christ-centered teaching, our Christian Education programs help people of all ages grow in their understanding of God’s Word and their identity as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Adult Christian Education

Our Adult Christian Education ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth, biblical learning, and Christian fellowship. Sunday School classes, small groups, and Bible studies allow adults to dive deeper into Scripture, engage in meaningful discussion, and explore what it means to live faithfully in today’s world.

Offerings include:

Sunday School classes exploring books of the Bible, contemporary issues, and spiritual practices

Small group gatherings for fellowship, reflection, and study

Weekly Bible studies led by staff and lay leaders

Women’s and Men’s ministries that offer prayer, discussion, and community

Whether you’re new to faith or seeking to deepen your spiritual life, there’s a place for you to grow.

Christian Education for
Adults with Special Needs

As part of our commitment to inclusive Christian education, the Jericho Ministry offers spiritual growth, fellowship, and joy-filled community for adults with special needs.

Through storytelling, worship, crafts, and shared meals, Jericho creates a nurturing environment where participants experience God’s love, explore their faith, and build meaningful relationships. Each gathering includes a faith-based message, interactive activities, and a strong sense of belonging.

Jericho is supported by a caring team of volunteers—including St. Mark youth, church members, and staff—who help make every meeting a special and Spirit-filled experience.

At St. Mark, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow in faith and be part of the Body of Christ. Jericho is one of the many ways we live that out—through joyful connection, spiritual encouragement, and compassionate inclusion.

Youth Ministry (Grades 6–12)

Our Youth Ministry is a welcoming and close-knit community where students explore faith, build friendships, and discover how to live authentically as followers of Christ. We support youth through:

Sunday morning classes

Midweek Bible study

Service projects, retreats, and mission trips

Fun and faith-filled events that build connection and confidence

Youth are encouraged to live boldly and compassionately, reflecting Christ in all they do. We believe laughter, worship, service, and scripture go hand in hand.

Children’s Ministry

Children at St. Mark are welcomed with joy, nurtured in faith, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with God. Through engaging Bible stories, crafts, games, and music, kids learn the love of Jesus in ways that are age-appropriate and fun.

Our program includes:

Nursery and Preschool Sunday School

Elementary Sunday School (Kindergarten–5th grade)

Children in Worship with worship bags, kid-focused messages, and Transitional Worship opportunities

Nursery Care for infants and toddlers during worship and Sunday School
