Youth Christian Education

Growing in faith, learning in community, and serving with joy

Youth Group Events

We balance our calendar with opportunities for worship, service, study, and recreation. Faith grows best in community — as we laugh, serve, encourage, and pray together.

Life Together. Faith Together.

St. Mark’s youth group is a close-knit community of young believers walking alongside one another as they explore what it means to follow Jesus Christ. In a world that often misunderstands faith, we create space for honest questions, meaningful relationships, and spiritual growth rooted in grace.

Our youth are encouraged to love fearlessly, live authentically, and engage others with humility and respect. Through community, worship, learning, and service, we seek to reflect Christ’s love and breathe life into God’s kingdom here in Boerne.

Youth Ministry Service Opportunities

We believe in God’s desire for us to serve His creation and His people. Each year, our youth typically:

  • Plan and lead St. Mark’s annual Youth Worship Service
  • Organize fundraisers supporting youth ministry activities
  • Assist with St. Mark programs such as Vacation Bible School
  • Participate in the annual Iron Chef Competition
  • Serve with local organizations throughout Kendall County
  • Take part in mission trips focused on service and relationship-building
  • Attend retreats that deepen faith through community and God’s creation

Mission Statement

We strive to humbly and lovingly lead youth into a community where they regularly encounter God, feel safe exploring their faith, and grow into confident, Spirit-filled disciples who boldly share Christ’s love with others.

How We Communicate

We communicate through email, Instagram, and text. To receive our weekly emails, please send your email address to our Director of Christian Education, Angela Grover. You’ll also find updates on Instagram and in The Happenings, St. Mark’s weekly publication, as well as on bulletin boards in the church Narthex and in each youth room.

We are always open to new ideas and welcome all participants and volunteers. We can’t wait to welcome you.

O people, the Lord has told you what is good,
and this is what He requires of you:

to do what is right, to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8
