Kayla Young has been a part of St. Mark Presbyterian Church since she was five years old. Growing up in this community has been one of the greatest blessings in her life—where she’s built lifelong friendships, found a true sense of belonging, and deepened her faith. Today, Kayla serves as a Ministry Associate, supporting the church’s children’s Christian education and youth programs. She is also a preschool teacher at the Early Learning Center, where she nurtures young minds and hearts each day. Whether she’s leading activities on First Friday, connecting with youth, or simply being a steady presence for the kids, her constant hope is that every child feels known, loved, and encouraged in their walk with God. It is a true privilege for Kayla to serve in the very church that helped shape who she is, and she is deeply grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside the next generation as they grow in faith and experience the love of Jesus.
