Sunday School for Adults:
THE PRESENT WORD SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - FLC #104 The purpose of the class is for each member to study the Bible and see the relevance that it has in their lives today and to transform us into better servants of Christ. From September through February the class will be studying Old Testament covenant communities and Christ the Fulfillment. March through August it will be studying teachings from Old Testament Community and Christian Commitment in Today’s World. This class will be able to see the full picture of those in the Old Testament in comparison to living in Christ’s Church today. Class participation is highly encouraged to add comments to enrich the lesson presented. Teachers include Bill Dalton, Ron Willard, and Jack Charles. Teachers rotate weekly in leading the class. FLC #104 WOMEN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - FLC #109 The Women’s Sunday school class will begin September 6, 2009. The studies will be varied in content and presentation. The subject matter will range from brief studies of the impact of Joshua and Joseph, to a contemporary look at the parables of the Bible, to studies in women’s spirituality---and that’s just the beginning. The class will view videos, engage in scripture study, and discuss life applications in small groups. We will come to know each other through exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and praying together and for each other. All women are welcome regardless of age or degree of Bible knowledge. You are requested to bring your Bible and your yearning to be a disciple of Christ. Facilitators: Chris Miller and Kate Dalton. FLC #109 ADULT EXPLORERS’ SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - FLC #108 The Explorers’ Class will begin a study of the book, Reformed: What It Means; Why It Matters.
