The purpose of St. Mark Presbyterian Church Early Learning Center is to develop all aspects of the child in a climate of love and support through a Christian based program of excellence. The program utilizes a stimulating curriculum, to nurture the child's development of self-direction, self-expression, self-discipline, and positive self-image. At St. Mark the learning environment is structured to provide opportunities for each child to develop spiritually, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and socially. Our learning outcomes include the following:

* to grow in knowledge and love of God.
* to develop a positive self image
* to strive to develop each child's unique talents and abilities
* to develop self-control and self-discipline
* to grow in independence and initiative
* to learn to work cooperatively and to share with each other
* to learn to respect others and appreciate our differences
* to develop readiness skills in language and math through appropriate developmental activities
* to discover and enjoy music, art and dramatic play
* to expand language skills, both listening and speaking (emerging literacy)
* to stimulate curiosity and creativity
* to provide opportunities to explore our environment
* to develop problem solving skills and effective communication
* to learn to trust and interact positively with others
* to make learning fun and exciting and instill a lifetime love of learning

* 2 year old class 4:1
* 3 year old class 6:1
* 4 year old class 8:1

Center Operations:

Extended hours before and after regular program are 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Option 1 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Option 2 Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Option 3 Monday Thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Option 4 Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
