The Cancer Support Group meets in the Narthex on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The support group is co-facilitated by Dr. Fred Hausheer and Dr. Larry Warren. 

"Dr. Fred" as he is known to the group, is an oncologist with more than 20 years experience in cancer treatment and drug development. Dr. Warren is a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience counseling individuals and families. This group is designed to be informational as well as supportive. The Boerne Cancer Support Group helps cancer patients and their families gain an informed perspective on the different types of cancer and approaches to treatment. Members learn how to "talk the talk" and ask better questions of their medical providers. The group is a place where you can talk openly and in depth about the "hard stuff" in an environment that is positive and caring. Please contact Dr. Larry Warren for more information.
